Time Capsules Our natural stones are an excellent product to use for Time Capsules. The stone will completely protect your materials from the effects of time.
How a Time Capsule works
When ready to use, your materials are inserted into a 100% stainless steal container and the container is welded shut. The container is then put inside one of our stones and invisibly sealed with the actual stone material, in order to preserve the natural composition and prevent any deterioration as you would with an artificial or man-made material.
How is deterioration prevented
Major causes for deterioration of books, documents, other man-made materials are degradation of the cellulose fibers, ultra-violet light radiation, consumption of materials by fungus or bacteria, and insect infestation. Because our time capsule is such a natural 'container' and completely sealed from any of the above, the materials will be preserved for centuries.
